Verizon is adding an extra $20 billion to its $100 billion purchase of DHL, its international mail-order logistics company, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.
Verizon will acquire the company, which makes parcel delivery services, in a deal worth $50 billion, according to Bloomberg.
Verizon will also buy DHL’s mail-ordering and delivery services business, Bloomberg said.
Verizion customers who have a DHL Unlimited Mobile phone plan can still use Verizon’s unlimited data plan, the report said.
Verizon’s $100B acquisition of DCH will help Verizon become the world’s third-largest mail-shipping provider, according the report.
Verizon and DCH agreed to merge in 2013, and the merger was approved by regulators in January, Bloomberg added.
