The irs has confirmed to the Irish Times that there are issues with the way its customer service is set up, with customers getting a message from an email address rather than a phone number.
The company has confirmed it is investigating and is “working with the authorities to identify a solution” to address the issue.
Irish Times contacted irs.ie and the company for a comment, but neither has responded to the request.
