American Airlines is buying Capital One customer service and taxi service provider Capital One, its second acquisition in as many months.
Capital One said in a regulatory filing Wednesday that it has acquired American Airlines customer service company Capital One.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
Capital, a San Francisco-based customer service provider, will continue to be a subsidiary of American Airlines.
Capital will continue as an affiliate of American’s regional partner, Capital One said.
The company’s current portfolio includes United Airlines, Continental Airlines and Virgin America.
