Up to five million customers were affected by the massive outage.
As of Wednesday, about one-quarter of PNC’s customers had reported receiving calls, emails or text messages with no progress on their transactions.
In total, about 1.5 million customers had contacted the company’s customer service department to report a customer problem, the company said.
“We have not received any reports of any customer service issues,” the company wrote in a statement.
“PNC customers who have received a call from us regarding a customer issue should immediately check their voicemail and send us an email or text message, and then call our customer service line.
We have no record of the number of calls or texts we have received since we began providing service in early February.”PNC has since rolled out automated call and text message verification and sent customers an email to verify their call and message details.”
As of this time, we have not had any calls or messages regarding customer service concerns,” the statement continued.
“As we strive to improve the customer experience and provide the best customer service to our customers, we will continue to work with our customer support team to resolve any concerns customers may have.”
Customers can reach the company by calling 1-877-824-4100, texting PNC, or emailing customer service.
