A man who used to work as a bus driver in the southern Israeli town of Mezze was arrested Tuesday after police found the body of his former boss, according to local media.
According to the Israeli media outlet Haaretz, police found Yigal Ben-Murais body in his home on Tuesday.
The news was first reported by Israeli news site Haaretz.
Ben-Murasis former boss had worked as a driver for Israeli bus company directv in Mezzze, located near the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba.
Ben-Gurion University students said that Ben-Miasis former employer had told them that he had died of natural causes after a long illness.
The bus company has since closed its business in Mezzze.
The Mezzez Police Station said in a statement that the police received an anonymous tip from a concerned citizen, who alerted them to Ben-Moasis body.
According to local Israeli media, Ben-Medias death came as a shock to the bus company, which has operated in Meza since 2005.
It had been working as a contractor for the busing company since 2003.
The Mezzes police station has yet to release the full investigation report into the case.
The Israeli Civil Administration (ICA) did not immediately respond to Haaretz’s request for comment.
